Our mission is to create exclusive itineraries that combine the quality of luxury hospitality with respect for local identities and the environment, promoting ethical, conscious, and sustainable tourism. In collaboration with selected partners and facilities of excellence, we are committed to offering authentic experiences that foster dialogue between cultures and contribute to the well-being of host communities. Our commitment to SUSTOUR and Travelife

We have actively participated in the European SUSTOUR project, designed to support the tourism sector in its transition to more sustainable models. This journey has enabled us to obtain Travelife Partner recognition in the summer of 2023, an international award that confirms our adoption of high environmental, social, and economic standards.

Our journey towards responsible tourism

Viaggi dell'Elefante is committed to integrating sustainability into every stage of the trip planning and implementation process. Our Sustainability Policy is based on eight operational areas that guide our daily and strategic choices:

• Management and regulatory compliance: appointment of a Sustainability Coordinator, ongoing training, membership of industry forums, and internal assessments of environmental and social performance, with the aim of creating a trained team.
• Social responsibility and human rights: fair labor policies, inclusion, safety, and zero tolerance for all forms of exploitation.
• Environmental protection: reduction of the environmental impact of offices and travel operations, carbon offsetting, and promotion of energy efficiency.
• Responsible selection of partners: selection criteria based on ethics, sustainability, and respect for local communities.
• Promotion of sustainable accommodation facilities: collaboration with businesses that operate in harmony with the environment and local culture.
• Ethical excursions and activities: employment of local staff, compliance with regulations, and promotion of traditions.
• Support for destinations: promotion of alternative destinations, protection of biodiversity, and support for the local economy.
• Communication and customer care: transparency, awareness raising, and feedback collection for continuous improvement.
