In the morning, make your own way to the Paestum excavations and take a guided tour of the archaeological site. Paestum, the ancient Poseidonia, is the best-preserved Greek city in the world.
An exciting journey that will take you back 2,500 years, amongst the imposing walls and majestic Doric temples dating from the 6th century BC: the Basilica of Hera, the Temple of Neptune and the Temple of Athena. A timeless legacy that still enchants today. Don’t miss the National Archaeological Museum, home to the famous Tomb of the Diver, the only example of Greek painting from Magna Graecia. The Roman period completes the story with thermal baths, the forum, temples and the amphitheatre, the heart of public life.
