In the morning, meet your tour leader and fellow travelers in Rome. A transfer will take you to Ecoluxury Retreat Eremito. After check-in and a short introduction to the program, you’ll set out on your first walk, ending with a guided meditation. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day dedicated to mindful walking amid the serene beauty of the Umbrian countryside. A picnic lunch will be provided during the day. Return to the hotel in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.
After check-out, depart for Assisi, where a local guide will lead you on a two-hour tour through medieval alleys and panoramic viewpoints. You’ll explore the history of St. Francis, admire the grandeur of the Basilica, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the old town. After the tour, enjoy some free time for lunch or further exploration. In the afternoon, continue to the Eremo delle Carceri, located about 4 km from Assisi’s historic center. Visit this spiritual retreat at your own pace, surrounded by pristine nature. Then, embark on a circular hike on the slopes of Mount Subasio, with mindful walking and moments of reflection and observation. At the end of the activity, reach Ecoluxury Retreat Castello di Postignano for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Begin your day with a slow and mindful walk around the medieval village of Postignano. Step after step, your breathing sets the rhythm as you leave thoughts behind and open yourself to the present moment, no talking, no rushing. In the afternoon, transfer to Spoleto, a city of art and charm, for a guided tour. Starting from Piazza del Duomo, dominated by the splendid Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, admire the frescoes by Pinturicchio and Filippo Lippi. Continue to the Roman Theatre, still used for cultural events, then stroll through cobbled streets lined with Renaissance palaces and Roman remains, up to the imposing Rocca Albornoz, offering breathtaking views over the valley. The tour ends at the Ponte delle Torri, a medieval aqueduct and one of Spoleto’s most iconic landmarks.
Enjoy free time for dinner in Spoleto before returning to your hotel for overnight.
After breakfast and check-out, continue to the Abbey of Sant’Eutizio, at the foot of the Sibillini Mountains — a historic site currently under restoration after recent earthquakes. From there, a mindful walk will take you to the Hermitage of San Fiorenzo, a place of deep peace and reflection, where you’ll meet one of the last hermits of the Sibillini, who shares his experience of solitude and simplicity. The journey continues in silence to another remote hermitage, home to a reclusive French nun whose energy and serenity leave a lasting impression.

Today, discover Norcia and the Castelluccio Plateau, where the fresh mountain air and timeless landscapes embody the soul of Umbria. In the morning, take a guided hike in the Monti Sibillini National Park, reaching Castelluccio di Norcia, one of Italy’s most enchanting locations, especially during the spectacular flowering season (late May to early July), when the plain explodes with colors of lentils, poppies, and cornflowers.
In the afternoon, a local guide will introduce you to Norcia, a town deeply rooted in its traditions. The tour focuses on Piazza San Benedetto, dominated by the remains of the ancient basilica dedicated to the saint — patron of Europe — who was born here. Surrounded by medieval buildings and artisan shops, the town’s narrow alleys and quiet courtyards reflect the authentic charm of mountain life. Farewell dinner at your hotel and overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to Rome, where you’ll bid farewell to your travel companions.
