Day 2, The Heart of Sardinian Traditions

Day 2, The Heart of Sardinian Traditions

Prepare for an exhilarating Jeep excursion to Mount Corrasi, located in the wild heart of the Oliena Supramonte. Departing from the hotel, you will climb through holm-oak forests, deep gorges, and limestone formations sculpted by time.

Along the way, we stop to admire breathtaking vistas and listen to tales of the land’s ancient history. The experience culminates in a traditional lunch with local shepherds in a rustic fold (ovile). Savor authentic flavors, including the famous porcheddu, local artisanal cheeses, and Sardinian sweets, all paired with robust Cannonau wine. It is a profound encounter between the rugged mountain beauty and the legendary hospitality of the Barbagia region.
